We’re excited to announce that we’ll be working with the Design Council over the next four months!
The Design Council has been a leader in the design world ever since it was established in 1944 to help British industry prepare for the transition to a peacetime economy at the end of WW2. Its mission to champion great design is absolutely in line with our aim at Hinton Bikes [Edit: now Flit] to develop an ebike that will transform the way people get around modern cities.
On the Design Council’s Design Spark accelerator, we will be working with the Design Council’s experts to make sure that our folding ebike is designed to be as convenient and practical as possible, from the way you ride it to the way you buy and service it. The partnership includes a £15,000 grant to make those plans a reality.
We’re excited to get the ball rolling on this and can’t wait to share the results in the summer.
Watch this space!
